My name is Machelle. If you cannot find me, I am usually cleaning the chicken coops, hugging pigs, cuddling chickens, or handling the social media aspect of the farm. It is important for us to make sure our animals are as happy as we are!
Our Story
Kent and I started this chapter of our lives by wanting our own REAL food.
His vision for starting this farm began after he became frustrated and wanted a tomato. that tasted like a tomato! He also wanted an egg that had a "yellow" yolk and bacon that brought back memories from his childhood. So we decided to hatch a few chickens. Chicken math is real and everything exploded! We quickly became addicted to raising chickens because they have an amazing personality and are so much fun!!
Kent's growing desire to have pigs then took over. We both grew up with pigs and knew that would be the next phase. Our farm was the perfect place to make this happen. We never really planned for the farm to take off like it did, but we are happy with the enjoyment it has given us.
Lagom Farm is a place where a pig can be a pig and a chicken can be a chicken. (and Kent can be Kent) lol
